Hello, and welcome!
I'm Elina, a Finnish cook living in Helsinki, and this is my portfolio. If something remains unclear after browsing through, don't hesitate to drop me a line and request for a clarification or a meeting! I will graduate from the Restaurant School Perho in June 2010 as a Restaurant Cook. I have studied the international program taught entirely in English so I can work just as well in English as in Finnish. I did my 20-week-long practise period in Weston Park, England, where I got to work in all stations in the kitchen both on the cold and the hot side. We catered to a variety of functions meaning that the menu changed right about daily. When not in the kitchen - or sometimes even then - I'm enthusiastic about wine, live music gigs, originality and imagination in right about anything, and I concentrate on living well and enjoying the small things in life. | |||
